This month's release, Peripherique's new album 'Wabi Sabi', is no mere collection of tracks but an attempt realize a concept through music: The title 'Wabi Sabi' is a reference to an old japanese concept of aesthetic, of beauty in the state of transcience.
'Wabi Sabi' is complete in its incompleteness, perfect while being imperfect. The album tries to capture this spirit in musical form: quiet music, an analog-digital hybrid that represents the idea of 'nothing lasts, nothing is finished, and nothing is perfect.'

hätt vorher mal nachschauen sollen, dass es n album is, bevor ichs dir verspreche ;)

...also meine favs sind nr. 4,6,11,13. bei den sachen habsch auch nichts auszusetzen. schön gediegen und getreu dem motto "weniger ist mehr".

intro find ich auch sehr gelungen, xylophon hätt ich nur nich ganz so lang gelassen am anfang. stresst nachher ein wenig. aber dieses thema am ende noch ma als fragmente aufzunehmen find ich wieder umso besser.

bei nr.8 find den beat mit den trommeln sehr interessant, bass find ich nich ganz so passend.

3 und 5 kann ich leider gar nix mit anfangen.
